About the IEP Modules

Thirteen modules were developed as a collaborative effort between the Bureau of Special Education and Idaho Parents Unlimited, Inc. They are intended to be useful as in-service training tools for groups of district staff/parents or by individual teachers/parents.

The Basic Modules (A through F) discuss the basic requirements of an IEP and the Extended Modules (G through M) cover specialty topics.

Each module includes a PowerPoint presentation and accompanying supportive materials for handouts. Once you open a module you will then be able to choose to open the PowerPoint presentation or open and print the teaching tools. The PPT slides have speaker notes that can be useful to a presenter or to help clarify the slide for an individual. In order to view the speaker notes, simply right click on the slide and select “Full Screen”, then right click again and select “Speaker Notes”. If you would like to print the slide presentation with speaker notes, then go to “File” then “Print”, and select “Note Pages” under “Print What”.

Note: All materials are in Microsoft Word or Power Point
