Resources on Age-Expected Child Development
The Early Childhood Outcome Center, continues to collect resources on age-expected child development to help Child Outcomes Summary Form (COSF) users compare to age-appropriate skills and behaviors children's functioning in the three outcome areas.
In addition to those listed on the ECO web site (/Age-Expected
Child Development from Birth to 5 Years/ ( click here ) the ECO is learning that some states are using a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website -- www.cdc.gov/actearly -- with developmental milestone information from the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. The section for parents presents the milestones in a format that is particularly clear ( click here )
